Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) welcomed representatives from 5 leading Korean travel companies on a familiarization trip held from 20–26 October 2025. The initiative strengthened tourism cooperation and allowed Korean travel companies gain a better understanding of Azerbaijan as a key travel destination.
During the week-long program, the participants visited Baku’s cultural and historic landmarks, as well as popular regions among tourists such as Shamakhi, Gabala, and Shaki. The trip highlighted Azerbaijan’s rich heritage, scenic nature, and modern attractions that can appeal to South Korean tourists.
On 24 October, a B2B networking event brought together the Korean travel trade representatives and local industry partners. The session allowed both sides to exchange ideas, discuss market needs, and explore new business opportunities to increase future visitor numbers from South Korea.
