More than 15 representatives of Türkiye’s travel trade gathered in Istanbul on 13 October 2026 for a networking event organised by Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB)’s Representative Office in Türkiye in collaboration with Rayda Tour. The event introduced participants to Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offering and created an opportunity to explore prospects for future cooperation.

Azerbaijan’s regional destinations, local traditions and culinary heritage took centre stage at an exclusive breakfast hosted by Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB)’s Representative Office in Türkiye in Istanbul on 13 October 2026. The event brought together more than 10 popular Turkish influencers to explore the experiences that make Azerbaijan a destination to discover beyond its capital.

With its rich hospitality traditions and developing tourism infrastructure, Azerbaijan continued to strengthen its international partnerships and position as a welcoming tourism destination. From 12 to 14 October, Rashad Aliyev, Deputy CEO of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), and Asmar Shabanova, Executive Director of Azerbaijan Hotel Association, attended the 93rd General Assembly of HOTREC and the 12th General Assembly of Hotelstars Union (HSU) in Vilnius, Lithuania, exploring opportunities to advance hospitality standards and strengthen cooperation with European partners.

Baku will bring together leading travel buyers from across Asia and Azerbaijan’s tourism industry on 29 October, as PATA Hosted Buyers Summit Baku 2026 connects 50 travel professionals from key Asian markets with local tourism businesses. Organised by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the summit will provide participants from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and South Korea with an opportunity to discover Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offering and explore its potential for their markets.

From time-honoured recipes to distinctive regional flavours, Azerbaijan’s culinary heritage took centre stage at the 10th International Adana Taste Festival, held in Adana from 9 to 11 October. The Representative Office of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Türkiye, together with the Azerbaijan National Culinary Centre, showcased the country’s rich gastronomic traditions and diverse travel experiences, inviting festivalgoers to discover the flavours, stories and cultural heritage that make Azerbaijan a destination worth exploring.
