Azerbaijan Tourism Board Engages Russian Travel Market Through B2B Events in 3 Cities

Azerbaijan Tourism Board participated in a series of presentations across three regions of Russia from April 9 to 11, 2025 aiming to deepen partnerships and promote Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings.

The events took place in Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, and Novosibirsk, attracting around 220 travel trade representatives. In Yekaterinburg and Tyumen, the meetings were arranged in cooperation with the tour operator Evroport, while in Novosibirsk, the event was hosted by Globus Tour.

Each gathering featured destination presentations and networking sessions, creating a platform for Azerbaijani tourism representatives to connect with Russian tour operators and travel agents. The delegation included representatives from the Absheron Hotel Group, Chinar Hotel & SPA, Gashalti Health Hotel, and Rayda Tour Operator.

Throughout the presentations, participants explored a wide range of tourism opportunities in Azerbaijan, including wellness and health tourism, golf offerings, wine and gastronomy. The initiative played an important role in fostering new business relationships and encouraging future collaboration between the two countries' tourism sectors.
