The Representative Office of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Türkiye hosted an exclusive Golf Tourism Networking Event in collaboration with “Dreamland Golf Club” and the Azerbaijan National Golf Club in Istanbul on 7 September.
The event gathered more than 10 distinguished guests, among them leading professionals from Türkiye’s golf tourism industry, prominent golf media and a representative of the Turkish Golf Federation.
Azerbaijan's potential as a premium golf destination was introduced by ATB alongside presentations from Dreamland Golf Club and the Azerbaijan National Golf Club. A short flight from Istanbul brings players to championship-standard courses and a capital where the Caspian meets a UNESCO-listed walled medieval old town. Both clubs are within easy reach of Baku: Dreamland lies just forty minutes from the city centre, while the Azerbaijan National Golf Club sits two hours further north at Guba, in the forested Caucasus foothills.
The programme also offered guests an authentic taste of Azerbaijan, featuring traditional tea and sweets, qutab, local delicacies and Azerbaijani wine.
The event provided a valuable platform for strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye’s golf and luxury tourism sectors, fostering new connections and opportunities for future collaboration.
