Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) and “Slovakia Travel” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum held in Baku on 15 July 2026.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on a range of initiatives, including the organization of B2B events, familiarization (FAM) trips for tourism industry and media representatives, while also exploring joint promotional and marketing activities to enhance tourism flows between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
The Memorandum was signed ahead of the launch of Wizz Air's new direct route between Baku and Bratislava. The new connection is expected to enhance connectivity and create new opportunities for tourism, business and cultural exchange between the two countries.
The Memorandum marks a new step in tourism relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and lays the foundation for future collaboration between the countries.
