Azerbaijan’s Winter Tourism Opportunities Promoted in Germany

Azerbaijan was represented at the FIS Ski Flying World Championships held in Oberstdorf, Germany, from 22 - 25 January.

Visitors attending Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) corner were able to immerse themselves in Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, unique tourism opportunities, and the country's winter sports potential.

Within the framework of this international cooperation with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) is to promote Azerbaijan as a destination where world-class professional winter sports competitions are held. It also seeks to ensure the implementation of a large-scale marketing and promotional campaign for our country’s tourism brand and products in the international arena.

According to the agreement, Azerbaijan act as the FIS’s “Global Destination Partner” at global competitions (World Cups and Championships) organized by the Federation
