On 10 December, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) Israel Office and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) participated in the “New Map” Tourism Summit held in Tel Aviv as official sponsors.
A conference with more than 350 tourism industry representatives was held during the summit, and Azerbaijan’s delegation took part. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Israel, Mukhtar Mammadov, delivered a speech during the summit. He highlighted opportunities to further strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the event, a Tourism Festival was organized, where visitors had the chance to savor Azerbaijan’s traditional dishes.
B2B and B2C meetings held during the summit contributed to strengthening relations with tourism industry partners in Israel, fostering new cooperation opportunities, and promoting Azerbaijan as a key tourism destination.
In the first 11 months of 2025, the number of visitors traveling from Israel to Azerbaijan increased by more than two times compared to the same period last year, reaching 59,917.
