Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), together with its industry partners, is participating in the “Tashkent International Tourism Fair” (TITF) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, taking place from 27th to 29th of November 2025.
This year, Azerbaijan has been officially selected as the Partner Country of TITF 2025, further highlighting the growing tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and providing enhanced visibility for the destination throughout the exhibition.
Representatives of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (STA) took part in the opening ceremony of TITF 2025, where Advisor to the Chairman of STA, Kenan Guluzade, highlighted the developing tourism relations and joint initiatives between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The destination is represented at the national stand by ATB together with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Shahdag Mountain Resort, and 12 additional local tourism industry partners. Visitors to the exhibition are provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan's historical and cultural heritage, national cuisine, ski resorts, winemaking traditions, as well as its health and winter tourism opportunities. B2B meetings are being held with representatives of the international tourism industry to explore future collaboration opportunities.
In addition, a meeting between ATB and the Uzbekistan National PR Center was held within the fair, where both sides discussed continuing joint efforts to promote Silk Road heritage, strengthen regional cooperation, and showcase shared cultural values. These activities build on this year’s joint “Highlights of the Silk Road” European roadshow, held across six cities.
During January–October 2025, the number of visitors from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan reached 50,971, marking a 36% increase compared to the same period last year.
