Azerbaijan Tourism Board Participated at ICCASkills CICS Programme in Luxembourg

As a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) took part in the ICCASkills Certified International Convention Specialist (CICS) programme, held on 23–25 September 2025 in Luxembourg. The event was organized by ICCA and hosted by the Luxembourg Convention Bureau, bringing together participants from across the globe to advance their expertise and practical skills in the international meetings industry.

Throughout the training, participants examined the influence of global trends on international association events and gained insights into effective strategies for building partnerships and collaboration with local stakeholders. The programme also highlighted best practices in successful bidding processes and destination positioning.

The International Congress and Convention Association is a leading global community and data hub for the international associations' meetings industry. It unites over 1,100 members from almost 100 countries, providing valuable resources such as data, education programs, and communication channels to help attract association events and congresses to various destinations. Azerbaijan has been a member of ICCA since 2019.
