A new action plan was discussed within the framework of developing the tourism potential of the Gakh district

A meeting was held on June 13 to discuss the cooperation and coordination of the working group on the Gakh Tourism Development Plan, aimed at developing the tourism potential of Gakh district and establishing a sustainable tourism model.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Tourism Agency, the Executive Power of the Gakh District, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Culture, Azerbaijan Tourism Board, Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, Azerbaijan Railways, as well as local tourism industry representatives, association leaders, and local municipalities.

The new action plan focuses on improving infrastructure, creating new tourism products, strengthening marketing and digitalization efforts, enhancing service quality, and developing human resources, with the goal of transforming Gakh district into an international tourism center and improving the welfare of local communities through reinforced cooperation among partners.
