Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities presented to Türkiye’s travel trade in Istanbul

More than 15 representatives of Türkiye’s travel trade gathered in Istanbul on 13 October 2026 for a networking event organised by Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB)’s Representative Office in Türkiye in collaboration with Rayda Tour. The event introduced participants to Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offering and created an opportunity to explore prospects for future cooperation.

A destination presentation by ATB and Rayda Tour highlighted places to visit and experiences to discover across Azerbaijan, offering travel professionals insights into the country’s tourism products and their potential inclusion in travel programmes for Turkish visitors. The gathering also provided a platform for industry representatives to connect, exchange ideas and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

The event reflected the country’s tourism offering through a taste of Azerbaijani hospitality. Guests enjoyed traditional sweets and gutab, accompanied by a tasting of local Azerbaijani wines, adding a culinary dimension to the destination presentation.

Through engagement with Türkiye’s travel trade, ATB continues to introduce Azerbaijan’s tourism experiences to industry professionals and encourage closer cooperation in promoting the country as a travel destination.
