Azerbaijan’s gastrotourism potential has been presented at the “Worldchefs Congress & Expo of the World Association of Chefs Societies”, held in Newport, United Kingdom.
During the event, Azerbaijan’s gastrotourism development perspectives were highlighted, with particular emphasis on the promotion and preservation of national gastronomy as an element of intangible cultural heritage, as well as the important role of the restaurant industry in this process.
Organized by Worldchefs and held biennially since 1928, the congress brings together chefs and industry innovators from around the world, serving as a global platform to explore developments in the gastronomy sector and strengthen professional collaboration among industry stakeholders.
Within the global Worldchefs network, which unites more than 100 chef associations worldwide, Azerbaijan is represented by the Azerbaijan Culinary Specialists Association (ACSA).
