UAE and KSA familiarization trip successfully held across Azerbaijan

From December 1 to December 7, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) hosted a familiarization trip for 21 travel companies from the UAE and 10 from KSA.

The program for travel trade representatives from UAE and KSA covered Baku, Guba, Gusar, and Shabran, presenting Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings, including winter tourism activities. The initiative aimed to introduce UAE and KSA travel companies to Azerbaijan’s winter tourism offerings.

Participants engaged in an extensive program, including Shahdag Ski Resort, golf experiences, traditional cuisine masterclasses.

During the trip, B2B networking event held on December 4, where around 60 local companies from tourism industry, including Azerbaijan Airlines, met with UAE and KSA agencies to discuss future cooperation and joint product development.

This initiative highlights Azerbaijan as a key tourism destination for travelers from GCC region and to expect to strengthen tourism ties and increase the country’s visibility across the region.
