Ismayilli Featured in the First Episode of Euronews “Around Azerbaijan” Series

Euronews in partnership with Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), has aired the episode of the “Around Azerbaijan” series, dedicated to Ismayilli District.

The first episode of the six-part series focused on Ivanovka village, known as the last kolkhoz in the Caucasus, highlighting how Ismayilli, located close to Baku, a popular getaway for those seeking a slower pace of life is now experiencing a cultural revival thanks to new residents and local craftsmen.

Viewers can take a close look at Ismayilli’s rich culture, craftsmanship, agrotourism, and winemaking heritage, including cheese and honey tastings, and vineyard visits, while also seeing how rural communities embrace innovation alongside their traditions.
