Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, from July 22nd to 23rd, presenting destination’s diverse tourism offerings at the Azerbaijan Pavilion. Serving as a vibrant platform, the Pavilion invites visitors to engage with Azerbaijan’s rich culture, modern travel initiatives, and unique tourism products.
With a support of the Azerbaijan Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka, ATB hosted two exclusive events aimed at strengthening engagement with key industry and media representatives. On July 22, a curated wine tasting and networking session brought together 30 leading travel trade representatives from Japan and the wider Asia region. This is followed by a media event on July 23, welcoming 30 key international journalists for an immersive introduction to Azerbaijan’s wine heritage and tourism potential.
The Azerbaijan Pavilion itself offers a captivating and memorable visitor experience, embodying the Expo subtheme “Connecting Lives.” Through meaningful architecture, immersive technologies, and sensory design, the Pavilion guides visitors on a journey inspired by “The Seven Beauties” which is a concept that reveals the depth and diversity of Azerbaijan’s culture. As guests move through each arch, enriched with immersive elements, they explore seven interconnected cultural aspects, collecting threads of wisdom that come together to form a vibrant expression of the destination's cultural identity.
In alignment with the Pavilion’s “The Seven Beauties” concept, ATB has developed an interactive software titled “The Seven Routes of Azerbaijan.” This innovative tool introduces visitors to the country’s main tourism products through seven curated routes, allowing them to explore Azerbaijan’s diverse landscapes and cultural landmarks through captivating digital storytelling.
By combining the immersive “Seven Routes of Azerbaijan” experience with a curated presentation of Meysari wines, ATB aims to deepen engagement with global tourism stakeholders, enhance destination awareness, and build meaningful partnerships across international markets.
