Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) took part in an event in Atyrau, Kazakhstan on May 15, dedicated to the upcoming launch of direct Atyrau–Baku–Atyrau flights by Air Astana, starting May 31.
As part of the event, travel trade representatives from Atyrau attended presentations delivered by Kazakhstan’s national carrier Air Astana, Azerbaijan’s DMC Azertour Travel Agency, and TABIA Group.
ATB delivered a destination presentation to introduce Azerbaijan’s tourism products to local travel professionals. The presentation highlighted the country’s key offerings in history, culture, health and wellness, as well as growing areas of interest such as active sports.
Kazakhstan remains a priority market for ATB, with growing interest from young travelers in concerts, festivals and short beach breaks in Baku, alongside plans to promote MICE and golf tourism in the country.
