From March 4-6, 2025, in Berlin, the flavors of fragrant Azerbaijani tea and the elegance of locally crafted wines welcomed visitors at ITB Berlin 2025, offering a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), along with AZAL and 10 key industry partners, showcased the country’s tourism potential at one of the world’s leading travel trade exhibitions.
At the Experience Azerbaijan stand, guests savored traditional sweets, enjoyed twice-daily wine tastings, and discovered the country’s UNESCO-listed heritage sites, breathtaking landscapes, and diverse tourism experiences. Interactive displays and engaging visuals brought Azerbaijan’s cultural richness to life, offering an authentic glimpse into what makes the destination truly special.
Reflecting the strategic importance of ITB Berlin, the event served as a hub for B2B meetings, where Azerbaijani tourism stakeholders connected with international partners to discuss new collaborations and investment opportunities.
Highlighting the significance of the exhibition, Nasimi Aghayev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany, Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the UNWTO, Julia Simpson, President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council, and Zana Cela, General Director of the National Tourism Agency of Albania, also visited the stand.
Through its participation in ITB Berlin, Azerbaijan enhanced its international visibility, expanded industry partnerships, and positioned itself as a must-visit destination for travelers seeking rich culture, scenic landscapes, and authentic experiences.
