Azerbaijan Tourism Board, in collaboration with 4 esteemed partners, participated at FITUR 2024, from January 24th to 28th in Madrid, Spain. At the dedicated national stand, Azerbaijan represents the diverse and captivating travel opportunities – from its rich cultural heritage and UNESCO sites to hiking through lush landscapes and business events offerings.
FITUR is distinguished for its robust business focus, particularly during the initial three days, which are exclusively dedicated to B2B activities. First days of exhibition are followed by a seamless transition into a mix of B2B and B2C meetings over the weekend. Guests visiting the stand have the opportunity to meet with representatives from ATB and industry partners, such as ENC Tours, OK Tours, AZE Turizm and Geo Travel. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the destination and explore collaboration opportunities.
Visitors to the stand are introduced to Azerbaijan’s myriad attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Old City of Baku, the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, the Sheki Historic Centre and newly inscribed Khinalig village and ‘Köç Yolu’ Transhumance Route. Cosmopolitan capital Baku boosts with tapestry of city experiences, from museums and galleries, to chic bars with local wines and delicacies, to array of restaurants with traditional and international cuisines, as well as countless business events offerings.
